Back Where We Belong!
The Yankees have moved into first place for the first time since the season opener in May. They defeated the Rangers last night with a game-winning single by Ruben Sierra, who injured his left hamstring moments later. The final score was 11-10, which begs the question, 'Where have the pitchers and defense gone?' Let's just hope they can continue hitting and knock the Red Sox down to the cellar where they belong.

Congratulations! I wish I could say that I'm happy for you.
You are a Yankees fan? That's like rooting for the kingdom of the AntiChrist (except you always have a feeling the Yanks are going to win).
I am not ashamed to be a Yankees fan. I am a fan of the tradition, team, but mostly Don Mattingly. 'Donnie Baseball' was my favorite player in the 80's. As I followed his career, I started to like the Yankees also. And now everybody hates me.
Ye cannot serve God and George Stienbrenner Mammon.
O.K. I am a little ashamed.
