Praying With Paul-2

I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge-- even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you-- so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
(1Co 1:4-9)
Our Blessed and Most Gracious God,
We come before You once again with thanksgiving. We are especially thankful for Your grace, which You have lavished upon us who believe in Your Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your Son who came to redeem us from our sins and who keeps us by His grace.
We are thankful for all the ways You have enriched our lives, giving us knowledge of Yourself and the gift of speech so that we may lift our voices in praise to You and communicate Your grace to others so that the Gospel that we have received from Your Apostles through the pages of Scripture is shown to be true, not only in our activities in the world, but as it is also being confirmed in our hearts and minds.
We are also thankful for the gift of Your Spirit who leads us and enables us to live the life of grace through the spiritual gifts You have given us.
Now, we also repent of our shortcomings, our self-sufficiency, and beg for Your mercy and grace that will enable us to do what You have commanded of us, and to live our lives in a manner worthy of the grace we have been given.
We confess that is You alone who will sustain us to the end and cause us to persevere in faith, as we wait for that blessed and happy day, the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will come to make all things right and transform us into His own image.
We confess that You alone are faithful, that You have called us into Your fellowship of the saints in Light, the fellowship of the body of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
It is in His name alone that we come before You now,
Amen.
