Left Behind

Everybody who's anybody is at the Together For The Gospel Conference this week. Which probably explains why I'm at home in my office writing a post about nothing since no one is reading anyway.
I had intended to go to the conference, but guess what? I didn't. And I'm still not there. I'm not going. I wanted to, and still want to go, but remember...I'm not going.
I've been left behind. I haven't bathed in a couple of days. I'm depressed, dejected, disillusioned, and a danger to myself.
If I haven't blogged in a couple of days send someone after me.

Life was filled with guns and war
And all of us got trampled on the floor
I wish we'd all been ready
Children died the days grew cold
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold
I wish we'd all been ready

There's no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you've been left behind

A man and wife asleep in bed
She hears a noise and turns her head he's gone
I wish we'd all been ready
Two men walking up a hill
One disappears and one's left standing still
I wish we'd all been ready

There's no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you've been left behind

Children died the days grew cold
A piece of bread could buy a bag of gold
I wish we'd all been ready

There's no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you've been left behind

The Father spoke the demons died
How could you have been so blind

There's no time to change your mind
The Son has come and you've been left behind

I hope we'll all be ready you've been left behind
I hope we'll all be ready you've been left behind
I hope we'll all be ready you've been left behind

Oh...I talked to Steve for about 30 seconds yesterday. HE sounded excited but I was at work and an otherwise slow day picked up in htose 30 seconds.

Thanks for dissing all the rest of us non-TFTG people. I think I liked your Darth Doxo picture better.

Join the club, Brother. Let's mount a revolt. Everybody who didn't get to go, and their pastor did, scowl when he first stands up to preach this next Sunday. Just kidding. I am glad to know someone who went who can tell me all about it when he gets back. The stories my pastor tells from these kinds of events are (almost) better than being there.

Hey, your hair is coming back. You look much more dapper than you did with the orange sith eyes.

Unfortunately, your facial expression is something that I imagine would have adorned Nietsche.

Like the Gummby, I am pleased to be a nobody reading your covetous nihilism.

Have a bright sunshiny day, Jeremy!

O, so now I'm nobody. Well, thanks a lot, pal. No wonder you got left.

I noticed something else, too. I used to be on a list of "Bloggers I'd like to meet." Now it just says "Bloggers I haven't met."

Why are you withdrawing from fellowship? Is there hidden sin in your life?

So... you've been "left behind" Jeremy? I'll have to bring you the "left behind" movie that has that clip by TD Jakes on it telling those "left behind" what they need to do next. I am concerned for you... I'll bring that DVD to you Sunday. I eben think that I may have the second volume of the series at home in a box in the dungeon.... no wait, Emily used those pages from that book for the birdcage... rats. The DVD will have to suffice.

Oh, speaking of Left Behind, did anyone see the Simpsons' version of that, Left Below? Riotously funny.

We'll be sending someone after you, alright.

Haven't bathed in a couple of days?

Please keep back from the computer!
