My friend, Jeff Wright, has moved his blog to http://www.jeffwright.exaltchrist.com/. This week he posted a couple of very interesting articles, but only one made it to my favorites! Sketching Student Ministry is an article that seeks to 'reconcile' modern office of 'Student Minister' with the regulative principle. There's a lot to think about there. I'm hung on the fence right now.
My Pastor and brother, Steve Weaver, posted a sermon manuscript from Sunday morning. 'You're Dead So Act Like It!' is an exposition of Romans 6:1-14. He also posted an article by George Whitefield, 'How To Listen To A Sermon'.
John Rush posted an article entitled, 'Ain't It Preaching?', on 'middle-shelf' preaching.
Tim Challies posted an e-mail he received from 'Rick Warren'.
Joe Scoggin is now a Psalmist.
Phil Johnson aka 'Pyromaniac' had some curiously strong opinions about a 'Bible-zine' published by Nelson. I agree with Phil normally and today is no different.
Campi has an opinion about everything, and this week my favorite opinion was his post on 'Infant Salvation' titled, 'How Wide Is The Narrow road?'. You've got to admit, no matter your opinion, he put a lot of thought and study into that one. And came up with an unpopular answer, but true nonetheless.

First of all, I would like to think all the little people who made this possible. Next ... (music begins playing) well that's about it. Good night and God bless you all!
Think or thank?
Happy Birthday, Steve!
Maybe he thinks he thanked.
HBD Steve.
Jeremy: I finally connected to Jeff's new place. Looks good! Comments box seems faint, though.
A Psalmist. Wow!
Hey Jeremy. i am trying to change my display name so that I don't get mixed up with any other Brians. Testing this now to see if it works. Do you mind?
It's not working for some reason. it's supposed to read Brianthebhedr
How bout this? What do you think of this name?
Are you O.K., Brian?
What ever you choose is fine with me.
Upon further reflection, I agree with Jeff's post, 'Sketching Student Ministry'. I thought it wise to let everyone know this.
My initial objections were based on my disdain for 'ministries' that divide the people of God into groups which do not fellowship or worship together. This does not have to be the case with the view that Jeff has put forth. You can also read Prat 2 of his treatment of this issue by clicking here.
Doing fine, thanks.
