You may recall an overambitious Jeremy Weaver at this blog who said that he would post everyday on different themes and take a Sunday Sabbatical.
After much thought and reconsideration and rethinking it over again, and going over it in my mind as well, I have reached the conclusion that I have found an answer to a problem that I have with that thing that I said I would do. I can't do it. I don't have the time. So, instead and in place of that I will say this, I will post and blog whatever I want to, whenever I want to, and wherever I want to.
Mike, if you're reading this let me say, "No. I have not given up my Calvinism." What I mean is I will post, God willing. How's that for a save?
I'll finish Galatians, and I will still post on the same themes that I said before, because that is what interests me.
Having said that, free will and divine sovereignty are compatible. God designed me in such a way to do what I want to do, but to try to get out of those things that I do not want to do, only I recognize that it is God who grants the good desires. So any sin I commit, that's me. Any good I do, that's God.

Legalistic requirements kill the joy of blogging. Charles Haddon Spurgeon once said the following:
"I have found, in my own spiritual life, that the more rules I lay down for myself, the more sins I commit. The habit of regular morning and evening prayer is one which is indispensable to a believer's life, but the prescribing of the length of prayer, and the constrained remembrance of so many persons and subjects, may gender unto bondage, and strangle prayer rather than assist it."
What Spurgeon said about prayer may also be true about blogging.
I bet you're not going to change the address of this blog to doxoblogy.blogspot.com either are you?

That goes along quite well with your idea that man, by his own choice, will only choose sin and death, but God, who created Him is not wanted by him until God enters him with the H.S. Then, man will call upon the name of the Lord. ("regeneration precedes faith")
So maybe you should only blog when the spirit moves you or else who knows what words might flow from your computer! (Eeeww-you might take Calvinism to some new depths not before known). (Why do I keep coming to this blog?) :)
Mike~ The reason is clear: you simply have no choice! (debatable, huh?) And, I might add, you could learn and teach some helpful things along the way. There does seem to be moments of light-hearted humor with truth, and that's a good match.
